I personally don’t do research with VR games – because of my visual impairment I don’t relate to them in the same way other people do. I have been in labs with that equipment and tried them out.

People appear to have strong reactions to VR, but I wonder how much of that is just the novelty. When I was in school, there is a new FPS game called Doom out. People were physically leaping out the way when they saw a fireball coming towards them in screen, because it was so novel and engaging, but now we would laugh at that because we are use it. In the same way, once people get use to VR they may not react in the same way they do now.
