• Question: how do you want to further your career in the future?

      I think my plan is continue to develop a career as a data scientist in the civil service, while doing therapy work and occasional game design part-time, and keep doing my own academic research as a hobby.

      Good question!
      I’m very interested in public engagement and science communication (that’s why I’m here!), so I want to get more training in that area during my PhD. I’d really like to get training on and experience in writing about psychology for the general public in science magazines or blogs, or for scientists in more specialised magazines.
      Otherwise, I’m hoping to further develop my skills as a researcher and tutor, as I love doing research and hope to continue doing it for as long as possible! For example, I want to learn new techniques of data collecting (like collecting data through interviews) and data analysis (like analysing data you have collected over a long period of time)!
