Ah, i do listen to music, I just don’t have any particular favourite bands or artists if that makes sense. Actually, I always listen to music and find it helps when I am working in terms of tuning out distractions and just generally making everything more fun. I usually listen to playlists on Spotify. Thee tend to depend on my mood. I always listen to music when I am running too, so somethiing like running songs or uplifting music etc.
It’s hard in my house as children have the first say and like to comandeer Alexa with their choices!
I love listening to music, it helps with my writing and thinking. Also as a cyberpsychologist I appreicate how nice it is to have the technology to listen to music anywhere!
Personally I’d rather be engaging in a more active activity, such as playing a computer game or reading than listening to music. I’d rather try to immerse my attention in that (which in psychology we call ‘flow state’) and find background music distracting from that.
