• Question: While working with OFSTED, what did you find to be the most problematic within the school system?

      A particularly problematic topic is illegal unregistered schools, where children are declared to be home schooled but really sent to extremely poor quality unregistered schools. Such “schools” don’t really prepare people to live and work in modern Britain.

      Another problem is certain faith schools handling certain topics. For example, a Jewish school was found to be crossing out exam questions about evolution from science exams. How would you feel if you discovered your school was doing that to you?
