This is a good question. As a city, I love Bath. It has plenty going on and is just so amazinlgy beautiful. Lots of bars and restaurants, green spaces (even in the centre) and just so much history. I live in a village just outside of Bath so the best of the countryside and the city. You can find more about some of the amazing things that Bath has to offer here – https://visitbath.co.uk/

If you mean the Uni, it’s located at hte top of a hill so bus ride (or steep walk) up to uni and then a lovely walk back down with fantastic views. The university is also vibrant with lots going on. We have fantastic sports facilities with some Olympians training here and great societies and other things to get involved in. Psychology is located in a new building which cost £30 million so we are especially lucky. It has great social spaces and some amazing lab resources. E.g. a pain lab,EEG lab, cross-modal lab and virtual reality lab. See here for more info about labs – http://www.bath.ac.uk/psychology/about/laboratories/ This is great for students and gives opportunities for dissertation work with supervisors who have interests in these areas. See here for more info about the psychology department – http://www.bath.ac.uk/departments/department-of-psychology/

We have two undergraduate degrees, one with a placement year and one without (so three and four year degrees). Both are fantastic as the quality of teaching is high (we have the TEF gold award for teaching) and lots of research going on.

Come and visit! I did my PhD here so have been a student as well as a staff member.
