      Good question!
We were only away for a day and a half so we didn’t get to do much, but first we stopped by a few places on the way up from Edinburgh, such as Loch Lomond, Glencoe (look up the Massacre of Glencoe for its tragic history), and Fort William.
In the morning, after our catastrophic tent pitching, we visited some of the landmarks on Skye like the Old Man of Storr, Rubha nam Brathairean (Brothers Point) and Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls Viewpoint (they’re both beautiful scenic views on the coast). We also went to visit Neist Point Lighthouse, which was quite a trek but also gorgeous!
I would definitely recommend visiting Skye, it’s a beautiful island and you won’t run out of scenic routes! I would say you’d definitely need a car to visit though, as many of the landmarks are hard to reach.
